Mental health challenges are widespread, impacting one in five people in the U.S. over their lifetimes. Many individuals still suffer silently. GAIT Equine Assisted Services recently announced its participation in the “Seen Through Horses 2024” campaign, a initiative by 80 nonprofits aimed at leveraging the therapeutic benefits of horses to effectively address mental health issues. The organization is also seeking donations in support of its mission.

“The positive impact of equine-assisted services on mental health and personal growth is clear. At GAIT, we have personally seen the remarkable healing effects of our horses. Our programs, led by licensed professionals, are ready to help more individuals in need. However, we urgently need your financial support to reach and assist a larger number of participants,” the organization said in its announcement. “By donating to our cause, you help us expand these vital services to those who otherwise could not afford them. Your contribution during the Seen Through Horses campaign not only raises awareness but also directly improves the well-being of numerous individuals.”
