Hawley. Sweatshirts, gloves, hats, backpacks -- all were donated to young patients in need, courtesy of the Hawley Women’s Club. Donations of children’s clothes and accessories went to two Wayne Memorial Community Health Center medical practices this holiday season. Instead of purchasing gifts for each other, the club decided to ask its nearly 40 members to buy apparel for infants and children up to age eight. The brand-new items were delivered to the Waymart Pediatric Center and the Women’s Health Center/Honesdale. Shown at Waymart Pediatric Center (from left): Janet Eisele, CRNP, Waymart Pediatric Center; Christina Kizer, medical assistant, Waymart Pediatric Center; Sally Ann Whalen, Hawley’s Women’s Club; Eileen Avallone, membership chair, Hawley’s Women’s Club; Lori Seeley, medical secretary, Waymart Pediatric Center; and Nan Gallagher, Hawley’s Women’s Club. The Women’s Health Center received its share of the donated goods later the same day.
