Milford. The Knights of Columbus Council 12571 in Lords Valley recently presented a $500 check to Martha S. Dubensky, founder and executive director of GAIT Therapeutic Riding Center, pictured with Joey, the horse; Mike Schul, Grand Knight; Victor Presto; and Pete Ferris. Council 12571 says it’s proud to support GAIT because it offers the community many therapies, including for Attention Deficit Disorder Spectrum (ADD), Autism Spectrum, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delays (DD), Down Syndrome, head trauma, Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, Prader Willi Syndrome, Spina Bifida, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), PTSD, and vocational training programs.
