Delaware Valley Elementary School invited the Matamoras Fire Department to talk with the pre-kindergarteners, kindergarteners, and first- and second-grade classes about fire safety. Among the many things they learned: don't hide if there's a fire, test door knobs to see if they're hot, and don't be afraid of firefighters.
