Nominations sought for the Pike County Chamber’s Champions Awards

Milford. The Chamber will honor individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations that are making a critical difference in economic development and enhancing the quality of life across Pike County at its award banquet.

The Pike County Chamber of Commerce will hold its Chamber Champions Awards Banquet on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at The Inn at Woodloch Pines in Hawley.

The celebratory event will honor individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations that are making a critical difference in economic development and enhancing the quality of life across Pike County.

“We are excited to receive nominations highlighting individuals for their continued service in the Pike County community,” Chamber President Jennifer Passenti said in the press release detailing the program and the dinner.

The categories

Nominations are now being accepted for the following award categories:

Davis R. Chant Lifetime Achievement Award

This award will recognize a person whose long-standing achievements, dedication and longevity personally and professionally contribute to the future of Pike County.

Excellence in Education

This award will recognize an educator that has made a significant contribution to the educational community based at a local educational institution.

Hometown Hero

This award will recognize an individual or organization that has made a significant economic impact on our area offering historical, social and charitable contributions in our area.

Rookie Business of the Year

This award will recognize a business that demonstrates excellence in their contributions to society, through economic development, fundraising, marketing and strategic alliances.

Person of Excellence

This award will recognize a person whose character, conduct, leadership & achievements, and service personally and professionally contribute to the current and future development of Pike County.

Rising Star

This award will recognize young talent who demonstrates exceptional capacity to achieve great success and contribute in an inspirational manner to the future progress of business and society.

Nonprofit Organization Volunteer Awards

These awards will recognize nonprofit organizations honoring their own volunteers during the Chamber Champions Awards ceremony.

The Chamber will coordinate the program but invites nonprofit organizations to participate. There is no financial obligation to participate in the event as a non-profit organization.

There will be a speaking opportunity to announce honorees and present an award.

The chamber is hopeful many organizations will take this opportunity to honor one of their own and publicize their good works.

Chamber Champions Awards
The Pike County Chamber of Commerce will hold its Chamber Champions Awards Banquet on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at The Inn at Woodloch Pines in Hawley.

This event includes a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner and presentation of awards by Chamber President Jennifer Passenti.
The cost is $60 per person.
