PEEC staff trains in first aid and CPR to keep students safe during epidemic

Dingmans Ferry. The staff at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) completed the American Heart Association’s First Aid CPR AED training program that was presented by Delaware Valley Emergency Services in Milford. The program is part of PEEC’s strategy has to keep its students and staff safe, especially during the COVID-19 epidemic. The class reviewed first aid, including medical, trauma, and environmental emergencies, as well as CPR, for adults, children, and infants. PEEC is a non-profit located in Dingmans Ferry whose mission is to advance environmental education, sustainable living, and appreciation for nature through hands-on experience in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Delaware Valley Emergency Services (DVES) is the largest supplier of American Heart Association, emergency medical services, and emergency workplace training in Pike County.
