United Way now accepting applications for funds to alleviate homelessness and hunger

Milford. Applications are now open for 2020 funding allocations through the United Way of Pike County. The application deadline is Sept. 30 for eligible non-profits and agencies. The United Way supports a range of local human services to alleviate hunger and homelessness and to meet critical needs of the community. To receive an application, email United Way president Steve Guccini at steveguccini@gmail.com or secretary Amy Burke at aburke@thedimebank.com. Completed applications can be returned to Guccini or Burke, or can be mailed to the United Way of Pike County, P.O. Box 806, Milford, PA 18337. The United Way Board of Directors will announce 2020 allocations by Oct. 15.
