The Delaware Valley High School Hall of Fame to induct five members

Milford. The 2023 induction class is Daniel J. Edwards, Daniella Montemarano, Emily Dorko, Bryan Schor and Richard A. Wilson Jr.

The Delaware Valley High School Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to announce its 2023 induction class:

Daniel J. Edwards and Daniella Montemarano will be inducted into the Academic/Professional wing.

Emily Dorko and Bryan Schor will be inducted into the Athletic wing.

Richard A. Wilson Jr. will be the inaugural inductee into the Hall of Fame’s Legacy wing, created in memory of the late Davis R. Chant, who was inducted into the DV Hall of Fame in 2014 and proudly served on its committee until the time of his passing earlier this year.

The inductees will serve as honorary captains for Delaware Valley’s Homecoming football game on Saturday, Sept.30.

The formal induction ceremony and banquet will be held at Milford’s historic Tom Quick Inn on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 4 p.m.

Daniel J. Edwards

Daniel J. Edwards is a 1987 graduate of Delaware Valley High School as well as a 1991 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Edwards served more than 23 years in the United States Air Force, both in active duty and reserve status as a KC-10 pilot and Civil Engineer. He is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Elliott Aviation, the oldest and one the industry’s leading business aviation solutions providers.

Daniella Montemarano

Daniella Montemarano graduated from Delaware Valley High School in 2007 before attending New York University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. She graduated with honors from Georgetown University, earning a Master of Science in Foreign Service.

Montemarano has dedicated her professional career to international peacekeeping and security and is currently the peace and security advisor for the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of African Affairs’ Office for Regional Peace and Security based at the U.S. Embassy in Niger.

Emily Dorko

Emily Dorko is a 2009 Delaware Valley High School graduate who earned First Team All-State honors in both softball and volleyball.

Dorko continued her athletic career in both sports at Adelphi University, where she earned both a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Dorko still holds several school records in softball and was inducted into the Adelphi Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021.

Currently, she is the Associate Athletic Director for External Relations/Senior Woman Administrator at Adelphi University.

Bryan Schor

Bryan Schor is a 2013 graduate of Delaware Valley High School, where he earned 12 varsity letters in football, basketball, and track and field as well as First Team All-State honors in football his senior year.

He continued his football career at James Madison University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 2018.

As a two-year captain and recipient of numerous awards, Schor quarterbacked James Madison’s football team to a 2016 National Championship.

He is currently a Senior Analyst on Georgia Southern University’s football coaching staff.

Richard A. Wilson Jr.

Richard A. Wilson Jr. is a 1979 graduate of Delaware Valley High School, where he excelled as a drama and choral student.

This led to a career in the entertainment industry that has spanned more than 40 years, as he continues to delight audiences across the country as a singer, motivational speaker, and comedy stage hypnotist.

Wilson is a member of both the New York State Country Hall of Honor and Hall of Fame, as he has shared the stage with music icons including Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson.

His dedication to serving others has earned him accolades from several charitable and veterans’ organizations.
