Pike citizens to march across the Delaware to join Women's March in Port Jervis

To the Editor:

Delaware Valley Action! members in Pike County will be joining a local Women's March in Port Jervis. They will assemble at 10:30 a.m. at Mayor's Park on Pennsylvania Avenue in Matamoras and at 11 a.m. march to the Delaware River Bridge to Port Jervis. They will march to St. Peter's Church to join its Women March in Port Jervis, which is scheduled to start at noon.

Marchers will carry signs expressing concerns about what is happening in our country, including such issues as separation of immigrant children from their families, peaceful coexistence with other countries, maintaining a healthy and beautiful environmental quality of life along the Delaware River, etc.
