Poor photo choice doesn’t reflect Biden rally turn-out

To the Editor:

Regarding “Battleground Milford” and “Biden supporters rally in Milford” in the Sept. 25 edition, pages 1-2: As much as I love seeing my photo in the paper, I feel that your coverage of the large group of Biden/Harris supporters gathered in town by Delaware Valley Action, to greet Eric Trump when he visited the Dimmick Inn, was misleading.

Both the photo and the brief coverage (“Joe Biden supporters took to the streets”) suggest that that I was a lone Don Quixote-like figure carrying the flag for Biden, when in fact, there were about 100 supporters lining three corners at Harford and Broad Streets, while, at most, three or four Trump supporters surrounded themselves with many signs in front of the Dimmick Inn when Eric Trump arrived in town.

Maybe, like me, and the rest of the Biden supporters, the reporter was just trying to keep her distance from others in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. In any case, I wanted to set the record straight.

Editor’s note: Reporters and photographers do not make the ultimate decision over which photos are included in the print edition. We are including another photo from the Biden rally with this letter.
