What has happened to plain old decency?

To the Editor:

Pike County and the Delaware Water Gap Region are truly exquisite places. The population here is every bit as welcoming as the scenery. That said, I have been regularly disappointed in the few residents and visitors who do not value the human and natural resources we are so fortunate to have here. When I visit Hackers Falls I see actual large amounts of trash left behind in this pristine environment. Traveling along the highways, the litter has become noticeably worse.

Walking about Milford are see examples of hatefulness to one another. Best example is the law office that has a dumpster labeled for use by their office and to dispose of Biden materials.

What has happened to plain old decency? I call on friends, neighbors and visitors to turn this around to the Golden Rule!
