Edward F. Aurisy dies at age 80

Edward F. Aurisy died on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, joining his devoted daughter, Dorothy. He was 80.

Eddie was born Feb. 22, 1937, in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., to Harry and Lucy (Patavino) Aurisy.

Survivors include his adoring daughters, Laura Salas and Tina Kramer; his beloved grandchildren, Danielle, Louis, Analyse, Joseph and Regina.

He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a firefighter in Mount Vernon.

He enjoyed years traveling on his Harley Davidson, worked hard ,and excelled at various careers, including a baseball photographer and store owner. But his greatest source of pride was his family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 23 South High St., Mt. Vernon, N.Y., on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 9:30 a.m. Final interment will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 95 Kings Highway, New Rochelle, N.Y., on Nov. 11, at 11:30 a.m.

Arrangements are by Stroyan Funeral Home, Milford, Pa.
