Dorothy Mae Quail

Dorothy Mae Quail, a lifelong Milford resident, died on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis after a short illness. She was 86.

Daughter of the late Henry and Lena Mae (Miller) Gebhardt, she was born Sept. 4, 1928, in Dingman Township. In 1953 she married Adin “Jim” Quail.

Survivors include her son Robert Quail and his wife, Cynthia, of Milford.

She was predeceased by her son Frederick in 1982; husband, Adin, in 2006; and grandson, Michael, in 2014.

Visitation will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, on Friday, June 19, from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 8 p.m. on June 19 with the Rev. Ben Willis officiating.

Burial in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, will be private and at the convenience of the family.
