    George Alfred Johnson, 73 of Milford, Pa., passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021.

    Son of the late George Alfred and Mary (Fatone) Johnson Sr., he was born Nov. 25, 1947, in Brooklyn and married to Marilyn (Fulkerson) Johnson.

    He was a proud decorated U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War including the Tet Offensive. He was a retired printer working in Manhattan.

    George was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church, Milford, and Marsh Kellogg American Legion Post # 139, Milford.

    He was a strong man who survived the war and created and thrived with his family afterwards. He had a strong will and loved his family, god and country and always looked to the positive and making people happy.

    Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; children, George Alfred Johnson, Scott Johnson and wife, Christene Johnson, Shaina Johnson, Earl Johnson and wife, Lisa Johnson; grandchildren, Christian, Alicia, Tori, Adriana, Tyler, Eliana; brother, Johnny Johnson and two sisters, Maryann Herrera and Georgette Gebhardt.

    A viewing was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on Jan. 7. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Milford, Pa., on Friday, Jan. 8, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. John Boyle officiating. Burial will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa., on Monday, Jan. 11, at 1 a.m.
