It is with great sadness that the family of Melissa Ann Jorgenson reports her passing on Monday, March 18, 2024, at home. She was 48 years old.
Melissa was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.
The daughter of Vincent and Margaret (Heisler) Sinkevitch, she was born February 25, 1976, in Brooklyn, New York.
Melissa had a passion for helping her community, which she proudly demonstrated through her work as a case manager for Pathways Community Services.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Vincent, and Margaret Sinkevitch; husband Christopher Chacanias; daughters Rebecca Jorgenson, Michaley Jorgensen, and Mary Jorgenson; their father Michael Jorgenson; sister Danielle Sullivan and her husband Jay; brother James Sinkevitch; several nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
