— Three people were sentenced to state prison for drug dealing and related charges Tuesday by the Pike County Court of Common Pleas Judge Gregory Chelak.

All three were arrested by investigators from the county district attorney’s office after investigations into heroin trafficking, said District Attorney Raymond Tonkin.

Jessica Virginia Rombousek-Jacobs, 37, of Matamoras was sentenced to 4 years to 8 years in a state correctional facility and fined $11,000 for the crimes of burglary and delivery of a controlled or counterfeit substance. On Nov. 19, 2012, Rombousek-Jacobs was an accomplice to a burglary at a residence in Milford Township where a piece of jewelry was stolen. In Dingman Township on Oct. 8, Oct. 17, and Oct. 24 of 2013, Rombousek-Jacobs sold in excess of 5 grams of heroin to an undercover officer.

Rombousek-Jacobs was originally charged with heroin trafficking in October 2013 after she sold heroin to an undercover officer. Her co-defendant Edwin Quiles still awaits trial in the Pike County Court of Common Pleas.

Ernest Broadwell, 54, of Milford was sentenced to 3 years to 7 years at a state correctional facility and fined $6,500 for the crimes of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled or counterfeit substance and delivery of a controlled or counterfeit substance (3 counts). Between April 15 and April 30, Broadwell sold 57 packets of heroin in Dingman Township. On May 1, at a residence in Dingman Township, Broadwell was found in possession of 187 glassine packets of heroin.

Forest Decker, 20, of Milford was sentenced to 18 months to 36 months in a state correctional facility and fined $1,500 for the crimes of criminal conspiracy (2 counts) and criminal use of a communication facility. Between April 15 and May 1, at several locations in Dingman Township, Forest Decker and Ernest Broadwell, through the use of a cellular telephone, arranged for the sale of heroin to a confidential informant.

Broadwell and Decker were originally charged in May by investigators from the Pike County District Attorney’s Office. As part of the investigation, the Pike County Detective Bureau obtained a search warrant for a residence at 102 Garfield Court. Detectives also obtained a search warrant for a vehicle used to distribute heroin, where heroin ready for distribution was found.
