Join 'Run, Hike, Crawl' PEEC 5K

— The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is holding its annual "Run, Hike, Crawl" 5K on Saturday, May 5.
Take a journey through the woods of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The route runs through PEEC's main campus and a variety of different woodland habitats on two of gorgeous trail loops. The course has a variety of different surfaces, including pavement, dirt, rock and gravel.
PEEC is located at 538 Emery Road in Dingmans Ferry.
There is a discounted fee of $25 for registering by April 14. After that date it's $30, and on race day, $35.
Registration is from 8 to 9:30 a.m., with the race to begin at 10 a.m. There will be a mass start. The race takes place rain or shine, with a maximum of 100 participants.
Awards will be given to the top three males and females in each age group:
12 & under
13-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60+
The awards ceremony, at 11:30 a.m., will follow the race.
All proceeds will benefit the Pocono Environmental Education Center , a non-profit organization.
