A recreation of Hawley history

Hawley - Did you ever wonder how Wilsonville, the area at the Wallenpaupack dam was named? A.B. Rutherford of the Wayne County Historical Society’s speakers bureau will recreate the colorful story of Declaration of Independence signer, Judge James Wilson, at the next meeting of the Wallenpaupack Historical Society. The monthly meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 15 at 1 p.m. in the PPL Environmental Education Center on U.S. Route 6 south of Hawley. Refreshments will be served and the public is invited to attend.
