— Milford United Methodist Church invites the public to attend its annual fall adult education program, which this year will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
The Rev. Dr. Lloyd H. Kenyon will teach the class, which will discover there really were four different reformations in the 16th century followed by a Roman Catholic Reformation. There were the Lutherans in Germany, Reformed in Switzerland, Anabaptists in Netherlands, and Anglicans in England. Following them was a Reformation led by the Jesuits within the Roman Catholic Church. Each of these will be considered. All together these reformations not only changed the church, but they changed the world.
Classes at the Methodist Church, 206 East Ann St., Milford, will be on five Thursdays, 7 to 8 p.m., beginning Oct. 5.
Refreshments and fellowship begin at 6:30 p.m.
