    The KofC Oktoberfest DINGMAN — Our Lady of the Mountain Council of the Knight of Columbus is inviting you to join them for a full day of fun, food, Music and friendship. The day is Sunday, Oct. 10, from 1 to 7 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, state Route 739 in Dingmans Hills. Don’t worry, Monday is a holiday…Columbus Day. A variety of beer and soda will be sold along with plenty of traditional Oktoberfest fare…brats, franks, pierogies and more! Kids will also have a blast…face painting and other activities. American music celebration continues NARROWSBURG, N.Y. — Tusten Theatre’s 2010 Fall Series, celebrating a wide spectrum of American music, continues on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. with the twentieth annual “Music of Our Time,” concert featuring the Delaware Valley Chamber Orchestra playing a newly commissioned work by David Tcimpidis. Classical chamber music meets Latin percussion in Tcimpidis’ “Dance Suite in the International Latin Style” featuring special guest artists Matt Sullivan and Chacho Ramirez. Sullivan is a well-known oboist specializing in contemporary music. Percussionist Ramirez is widely known for his work in jazz, Latin jazz, Caribbean, South American, and African rhythms.
