Applegate at Gallery on Seventh

MILFORD — David B. Applegate will be the featured artist at Gallery on Seventh during April, from the 2nd through the 29th. Meet the artist and friends during his Opening reception, Saturday, Apr 5, from 5-9 p.m. Applegate’s creativity is expressed in a special technique burning classic images in wood capturing the renaissance images of DiVinci, Michel Angelo and Botticelli. He is the first selected featured artist to showcase his work in the new gallery: Gallery on Seventh, that has opened at 113 Seventh St. in Milford. located in the Old Lumber Yard complex. David B. Applegate is an artist, author and poet who grew up in the New York City area. He has been the featured artist in the South Bergenite newspaper and The River Reporter. Along with his creative artistic accomplishments, he is the co-author and illustrator of “The Mouse And The Hare.” In 2004, David won the editor’s Choice Award from poetry.com and the International Library of Poetry for Outstanding Achievement Poetry. In 2005 he was nominated Poet of the Year by the International Society of Poets and was also nominated for “The International Who’s Who In Poetry.
