Artery launches celebration of 10-year anniversary
Second annual invitational, the alumni show: a decade of great art Milford The Artery, Milford’s perennial cooperative gallery, welcomes it’s past members for a special alumni showcase throughout the month of April. Twenty-two featured alumni from Pa., N.Y., and N.J. join current artist-owners for a fantastic range of work including paintings, photography, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, and wearable art. This is the first alumni showcase in the 10-year history of the Artery, so it’s something not to be missed. Returning alumni include glass artist Barbara Arrindell; painters and mixed media artists Jennifer Bauser, Claudia Bocker, Mary Ellen Campbell, Linda Holmes Richichi, Susan Hope Fogel, Earl Hoyt, Sharon Nakazato, Jim Palmer, Jeffrey Parker, Frank Shuback, Christopher Staples, Ellen Cardella-Tedesco, Mella Tusinean and Lisa Zukowski; sculptor George Fedoruk; photographers John Kiersten and Steve Polatnick; jeweler Karen L. Cohen; and ceramicists Kim Lust, Ayla Maloney and Laura Orvieto. Additionally, artwork by the Artery’s current members complement the vast array of creative media on display for this special event. The exhibition of more than forty artists will run from April 9 through May 4.
