Baby fair and tour renovated maternity unit

NEWTON, N.J. — Newton Memorial Hospital invites all members of the public to its Footsteps To A Fabulous Family Baby Fair. It’s everything baby for expecting parents, young families and grandparents and will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, May 16. More than 25 vendors will feature their products and services, including ‘Babies R Us,’ Mother Moon Baby Boutique, Bouncearama and Pampered Chef, to name a few. The hospital also will host guided tours to its recently revitalized Maternity Department, featuring more accommodating patient rooms for expectant moms and dads. The day will include many activities for children, including photo opportunities with Elmo, as well as face painting and magic tricks. Car-seat safety checks will also be available for parents as well as opportunities to win prizes and giveaways. Activities will begin at the Hospital’s Main Lobby on Saturday morning, May 16.
