About Habitat
Habitat for Humanity believes everyone, everywhere, should have a healthy, affordable place to call home. With an affordable, stable home, families have more to spend on food, medicine, child care, education and other essentials.

Habitat offers 30-year, zero interest mortgages set to cover the cost of most building materials and subcontracted work such as well drilling, lot clearing, excavation, and septic installation. Monthly mortgage payments in recent years are approximately $650 per month to cover the building cost, community dues, taxes, and homeowner's insurance. Labor is primarily provided through volunteers, and the future homeowners themselves, led experienced building coordinators.
