Birdhouse art show

Forage Space is celebrating their 8th birthday with a birdhouse group art show.

Each artist starts with the same wood birdhouse silhouette, then they have free range to create a painting, sculpture or anything they want and locals are invited to see the final outcome. There is a wide range of art and all of the original artwork is $200 or less.

To name a few participating artists: Mike Egan, Kevin Margitich, Kill Taupe, Erica Guerrero, Dawn Linden, Matthew Hiller, Brooke Hine, Ben Adcroft, Myriam Moreno Martinez, Nicole Laurel and Sean Beeks.

Forage Space, brings cutting edge contemporary artwork, featuring nationally and internationally known artists that are not represented in the NEPA area, plus hand picked local artists. Ranging in mediums and styles, Forage Space has Second Saturday openings every month.

“Birdhouse” opens July 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. and runs until Aug. 2. Regular gallery hours are Thursday to Saturday 3 to 7 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m.. 310 N Washington, Scranton.
