MILFORD — Pat Carullo writes, “By all measures - our species has entered its terminal phase. So artists need to step-up to the urgent task at hand!” “Terminal Art,” an exhibit created by Pat Carullo and featuring collaborative works with sculptor Tom Holmes and master woodworker Larry Braverman, will be on exhibit at the ARTery, 210 Broad Street, in Milford, from June 11 through July 6. An opening reception for the exhibit will take place on Sunday, June 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. The show will contain nine media art pieces in three convergent forms that Carullo calls “terminalist art.” The pieces are composed of digital video, and plastic, iPods, wood and canvas. Discs, terminals, and media dissolve into shape, color and surface. HD meets stone and circuit. Glass displays the world’s beauty. A careful study of cultural and technical creative destruction, Carullo shows how everything changes, and everything ends - even art.
