    Great American Cleanup of PA begins this weekend PIKE COUNTY — Great American Cleanup of PA, takes place April 17 through May 1. Registered events in the state sponsored program can get free cleanup supplies, such as bags, gloves, and vests donated by PennDOT and Keep America Beautiful. More than 40 organizations in Northeastern Pennsylvania have events planned for the Great NEPA Clean-Up during Earth Week from April 17 to April 25. The events include neighborhood clean-ups, work parties along the Lackawanna River, park beautification projects, roadside clean-ups, and special “green” events.
