Chinese culture and language offered at the Columns Museum
MILFORD — The Columns Museum in Milford is offering a class in Chinese language and philosophical studies, courtesy of the staff at Milford's new Guizhen Society, founded by Erik Oliva.
Every Wednesday for five weeks starting on Wednesday, March 2,the classes will explore Chinese cultural lifestyle, conversational language, and moving qigong practice, including the eight mother palms. The program will include as many aspects of culture and traditional education as possible, directing students to lead healthy, humble, and wise lifestyles. In turn, they serve as examples for others to live a similar way.
Each class is 90 minutes. Tea will be served.
The cost is $50 per person for five weeks.
