Christmas artists' show at the Artery

MILFORD - The Artery Gallery is preparing its annual Christmas Holiday exhibition. The show will contain seven to twelve works by each member artist and will include a great variety of styles and mediums. There are paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel and mixed media; jewelry in silver, gold and formed glass; sculpture in wood, ceramic and paper; etched and stained glass; and works in painted fabric. Many artists are featuring items suitable for gift giving. There will be a reception on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 2 to 9 p.m. The public is invited to attend and meet the artists. The show runs from Thursday, Dec. 7, through Monday, Jan. 8. The gallery, located at 270 Broad Street in Milford, is a co-operatively owned and operated by the member artists. Regular gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Monday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m..
