Christmas concert at Good Shepherd
MILFORD The Delaware Valley Choral Society and Symphony Orchestra will be performing a Christmas Concert at Good Shepherd & St. John’s Episcopal Church in Milford on Saturday, Nov. 28. In response to overwhelming, standing room only attendance at their last performance this past spring, two performances will be given, one at 2:30 p.m. and another at 7 p.m. Internationally known musician Craig Williams, organist and choir director at the Cadet Chapel at West Point, will join with acclaimed featured soloists, Wayne Walters, baritone, Diane Michaels, harp, Thomas Hines, oboe, and Ilizabeth Cabrera, cello. Familiar and favorite works of British and American composers including Vaughan Williams, Gustav Holst, and John Leavitt will be conducted by Jeffrey Fornoff. Also on the program will be works performed by guest artists Diane Michaels (harp), Thomas Heinze (oboe), Craig Williams (organ). Tickets for the Christmas Concert are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors, and $15 for students. Profits from the concert will be donated to the organ fund at Good Shepherd & St. John’s Episcopal Church. Advanced purchase is recommended as seating is limited. To purchase tickets and for additional information, call Jeffrey Fornoff at 570-267-8773.
