Cineart features ‘Capote' in February

NARROWSBURG - The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance will present “Capote” as the CineArt feature for the month of February. “Capote” stars Golden Globe Winner and Academy Award nominee for Best Actor, Phillip Seymour Hoffman. The film focuses on author Truman Capote’s quest to write a story about the murders of four members of a well-known Kansas farm family. He travels to their small hometown to research what will become his best-known book. As the details of the crime unfold and the two killers are captured and tried, Capote’s involvement with the case becomes both morally ambivalent and deeply personal. CineArt screenings benefit the cultural programs and services provided by Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, the Arts Council for Sullivan County, N.Y. Screenings will be held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Feb. 15, 16 and 17, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, February 18 and 19 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.; and Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m..
