Commune with old friends at psychic brunch
MILFORD — Get some peace of mind at the Upper Delaware GLBT Center Psychic Brunch.
It's comforting to know that "our loved ones are all right and that their souls have moved on," say the organizers. "Knowing that they are still connected to us in some way, that they do look in on us from beyond."
Lorraine Moore — psychic, clairvoyant, and medium — will be the main attraction from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, at the Best Western Inn at Hunt’s Landing, Route 6, Matamoras.
Moore does not use tarot cards or astrology. She is a "natural intuitive," an ability she inherited from her maternal grandmother. She has been communicating with spirits and having psychic visions since childhood.
Moore does what she calls "spirit connections," that is, communicating with the deceased. She believes the soul continues even when the body ends. She has been called in by numerous churches, synagogues, groups and organizations to facilitate lectures, and has been a keynote speaker and facilitator for workshops and psychic fairs.
A Lorraine Moore "group" event is reading-intensive. There will be question-and-answer sessions and messages from the other side. Readings are not guaranteed.
The brunch includes chilled fruit juice, breakfast pastries and muffins, Western or traditional scrambled eggs, bacon or link sausages, breakfast potatoes, coffee, and tea.
Reserved seats are $55, with all proceeds benefiting UDGLBT.
Advanced registration is required. Reserve seats at udglbt.org or ticketriver.com/event/20904.
