Cuban/Latin Night fundraiser at the firehouse

BLOOMING GROVE — The Blooming Grove Volunteer Fire Department is holding a Cuban/Latin Night fundraising dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, at the firehouse, 484 Route 739, Lords Valley (one mile north of I-84, exit 34).
The dinner, eat in or take out, costs $12 for adults, $5 for children 10 and under, and free for children 3 and under.
The menu includes:
Ropa viejas (pulled beef brisket)
Moros y Cristianos (rice and beans)
Tostones (fried plantains)
Yuca (Spanish root vegetables)
Empanadas (meat turnover)
Dessert (rice pudding, cake with coconut icing)
Coffee, tea, and cold drinks
