MILFORD — Veteran watercolorist Norma (“Toni”) Damian, a longtime member of Pike County Arts and Crafts (PCAC), is having a show and sale during the month of April at Seventh Street Coffee on Broad, in Milford. Damian will show an array of paintings, large and small, at affordable prices. She specializes in still-lifes and landscapes. Damian, who began painting as a child, has studied watercolor and other forms of art for most of her life, most recently with Jane Koeck’s class in Milford. Before moving to Pennsylvania, she was a member of the Wickford Art Association and the Pawtuxet Valley Arts Council, both in Rhode Island. She had a number of one-woman shows in Rhode Island and also participated in many group shows. Locally, her work has been on view at PCAC’s annual art show, held every July in Borough Hall, Milford. “It’s so empowering to be able to interpret the world on paper, with paint,” she said. Seventh Street Coffee on Broad is located at 611 Broad Street, Milford. The coffeeshop, open seven days a week, mounts a rotating display of artists’ works.
