Delaware River Basin Photo Contest wants your fall images
The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) is initiating a seasonal photo contest to highlight original, striking images that capture both the importance and beauty of the basin’s water resources.
Entries are sought from all over the basin, in both rural and urban settings. Photos may have been previously used by other organizations within the basin. The contest is open to everyone except DRBC staff and their family members.
According to the contest rules, entries must be:
The original work of the entrant (either an individual or organization)
Accompanied by a signed DRBC photo release form that can be downloaded from nj.gov/drbc.
Respectful of the rights, sensitivities, and culture of any persons depicted.
An accurate reflection of the subject matter and scene as it appeared, without alteration (other than standard optimization, removal of dust, cropping, adjustments to color and contrast, sharpness)
Submitted digitally and accompanied by a brief description, as well as an indication of where the photo was taken.
Not include any text or watermark on the image.
The commission may use the images for publication at its discretion, with credit to the photographer when possible, without payment of additional compensation.

Fall 2017 — Nov. 1
Winter 2018 — Feb. 1
Spring 2018 — May 1
Summer 2018 — August 1
Judging is as follows:
Seasonal — Winning entries will be selected by a panel of DRBC staff.
Annual — Winner will be selected from one of the four seasonal winners.
All contestants will receive a certificate of appreciation from the commission, signed by DRBC's Executive Director. The seasonal winner will receive a sports water bottle and certificate of recognition. The winning photo will be featured on DRBC social media pages.
