Dingmans Ferry artists to show their work at Peters Valley Craft Fair

Several Dingmans Ferry artists will participate in the 47th annual Peters Valley Craft Fair on Sept. 23 and 24 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, N.J.
Meet these local artists at the fair and get to know their work. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Jacklyn Scott is a clay artist, Mitchell Hauptman a mixed media furniture maker, and Jane Brennan a water colorist. All are new to the show this year. Each won an "Emerging Artist'" space among steep national competition.
Dawn Lombard, a glass and metal artist, moved to the area just one year ago and has been quickly establishing herself here. She will also be exhibiting with Peters Valley for the first time.
Peters Valley has also included local children’s’ book publisher Angela Parinno (G.P.'s HoneyTomes), who will bring the books she has published in conjunction with artists and writers. A long time resident of City Island, N.Y., Parinno has had a home in Dingmans Ferry for many years and is spending more and more time in the area.
The Sussex County Fairgrounds will host 150 fine craft exhibitors selling handmade ceramics, leather, sculpture, wearables, photography, glass, metal, jewelry, wood, drawings/paintings and works of mixed media. Admission is $10 per person or $15 for a two-day pass. Children 12 years old and under get in for free.
Peters Valley School of Craft is a non-profit educational center for the exploration, promotion and practice of the craft arts, located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
