Egg hunt coming up soon

    MATAMORAS — Pike Citizens Alliance for American Neighborhoods (CAAN) has teamed up once again with the Matamoras GOP for their Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 27 at 1 p.m. at the Delaware Valley field on Avenue H in Matamoras. The day is slated to be filled with lots of fun for the kids ages infant to age 12 years of age. Coloring tables, face painting and a free Easter basket give away. Organizers say that last year the event drew more than 250 people and was a huge success. This is a free event for the community funded by these two organizations, along with many donations from local businesses. Christopher Decker, President of Pike C.A.A.N. and Lynn Homer, President of Matamoras Republican Club, are excited to apart of an event such as this for the children of the community. “We are proud to host events for the community in which we live and in which we love.
