ESU concert offers eclectic mix
EAST STROUDSBURG — The University/Community Concert Band at East Stroudsburg University will present a concert featuring an eclectic musical mix at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6, in Cecilia S. Cohen Recital Hall of ESU’s Fine and Performing Arts Center, Normal and Marguerite streets, East Stroudsburg.
Featured pieces include: Handel’s Arrival of the Queen of Sheba; John Williams: Symphonic Sound Tracks; A Christmas Fantasia; and works by contemporary American composers Robert Sheldon and Rossano Galante.
Lance Rauh, temporary instructor in the theatre department, is director of the concert band.
The concert is sponsored by the department of theater and open to the public at no cost.
