Festivities Sunday at Peters Valley

LAYTON, N.J. — Sunday, May 3 is the annual Open House & Bevans Day at Peters Valley. Festivities will run from noon to 5 p.m. and include free family fun, for sure. There will be studio tours for: blacksmithing, ceramics, fibers: surface design & weaving, fine metals, photography, special topics (glass, sculpture, drawing, painting, etc) and woodworking. Open house also features: Craft Fair in “Valley Central” Craft Demonstrations throughout the valley Kids “hands-on” art activities in “Valley Central” Gallery exhibition Opening at the Sally D. Francisco Gallery: Highlands Photographic Guild Historical exhibits and displays in “Greek Great Food by George’s Wine & Spirit Live Music by “Gypsy Blue” and “Eight Days of Blues” Free Parking Shuttle Bus And lots more! While at Open house, tour the studios, meet the Studio Department Heads, and ask questions about their workshops. Peters Valley offers lodging, a dining hall, evening studio time, the store & gallery, and some great local attractions while you are here for your workshop, including the serene, beautiful Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area.
