Halloween is at Grey Towers

    MILFORD - Tickets are still available for the professional re-creation of the 1938 radio broadcast of H.G. Wells’ “War of the Worlds” at a special Halloween Eve (Sunday, Oct. 30) program at Grey Towers National Historic Site, Milford, PA. The American Reader’s Theatre Company, based in Milford and New York City, will use the original script from the Oct. 30, 1938, broadcast, when Orson Welles terrified the nation with his infamous radio broadcast of the fictional invasion of Earth by aliens. There are two seatings for the dramatic readings at 6 and 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person and are now on sale at Grey Towers, Call 570-296-9630 for information and ticket sales. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
