Handel's ‘Messiah' sing-a-long

    MILFORD - Come and sing-a-long with the Pike County Choral Society as it presents the first “The Messiah” Sing-a-Long in Milford. This event is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 10, at 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Milford, at the corner of Broad and Ann streets, opposite the Milford Diner. Admission is $5 per person, with the proceeds to be donated to the Milford Ecumenical Food Pantry. Soloists for the evening will be soprano, Julie Ziavras, who has won praise for her vocal beauty, musicianship and dramatic stage persona with repertory that spans from opera, art song and contemporary music and folk ballads. The alto soloist will be Margie Liebla, who is a member of the Pike County Choral Society. The tenor is Rev. David Mason and the bass will be founder/director of the Choral Society, Johanan Bickhardt. Come out and enjoy this evening of beautiful, inspirational music and celebrate the holiday season.
