Hear carols from the world over

MILFORD — The Delaware Valley Choral Society will perform a variety of carols from all over the globe — including Spain, Ukraine, Russia, Japan, Africa, Great Britain, and the United States — in its “Christmas Around the World Part 2” concert
Works from notable composers such as Sergi Rachmaninov, Morten Lauridsen, and Harry Simone are featured in a variety of genres, ranging from the Renaissance to classical to romantic to the modern era.
Instrumentalists joining the Choral Society include an African drum group and student-musicians from the Delaware Valley High School Music Program. The Dingman Delaware Children’s Choir, directed by Brian Krauss, will join the choral society in selected carols.
The Dec. 3 concert will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 210 Route 206 North, in Sandyston, N.J.
The Dec. 4 concert will begin at 2 p.m. at the Milford United Methodist Church, 206 East Ann St., in Milford, Pa.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and may be purchased in advance by contacting Helen Monisera at 845-856-5696, Diane Fornoff at 570-296-5333, or Jeffrey Fornoff at 570-267-8773. Tickets will also be available at the door.
