Holiday parade in Matamoras remembers Joseph Kucher

The 45th annual Rick Drew Holiday Parade will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4, lining up on Canal Street in Port Jervis at 1 p.m. and starting out at 2 p.m. The parade ends at the Matamoras Firehouse in Airport Park, where Santa invites one and all to party with DJ "G" and enjoy hot chocolate, sweet treats, and an awards ceremony. The 2016 Grand Marshals are the Kucher Family in memory of the late Josef Kucher, a longtime shoemaker in Port Jervis.
