Humane Society craft and artisan fair

WESTFALL The Pike County Humane Society’s second Crafts and Artisan Fair will be held Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Delaware Valley High School 9/10 gymnasium. They held one in March and it was such a success all the crafters wanted to come back again, plus they told their friends so it will be filled with both last Craft Fair favorites and new vendors and items. There will be more than 50 crafters and local artists showcasing their many talents and crafts. You can’t get items like this in a chain store or mall. There is a $2 admission donation with all proceeds benefiting the animals of the Pike County Humane Society. Some of the crafts and talents on display will include beautiful artwork, stained glass designs, homemade doggie cookies, pet and animal related items, woodworking, quilting, Native American Indian crafts and paintings and beading demonstrations. Crafts and artisan trades include: knitting, crocheted items, stitchery, paintings, photography, Americana, painted country woodcrafts, cards homemade candies and home goods. The society will have their own home baked goods table and food sales. 100% of the sales here go to helping the society help animals. They will be raffling off donated merchandise both days of the event. For more information, contact the shelter at 570-296-7654, or e-mail swarshaw@earthlink.net.
