PORT JERVIS, N.Y. The Port Jervis Council for the Arts and The Pienpack Company are sponsor in “An Afternoon With The Journals of Lewis and Clark.” Spend some time with the national literary treasure which is known as “The Journals of Lewis and Clark from 1803-1806.” Hear parts of their journals read aloud by historian Peter Osborne who recently traveled the route of the epic expedition from Washington DC to the Pacific and back. The program takes place at Port Java, 19 Front Street, Port Jervis on Sunday March 8, at 3 p. m. For more information, call 845-858-4500. The program is free to the public.
