NARROWSBURG, N.Y. — Fine art and commercial photographer Chip Forelli will lead a two-hour demonstration of how to photograph artwork—from paintings to drawings to sculpture—on Saturday, Aug. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Delaware Arts Center, 37 Main Street, Narrowsburg, N.Y. This hands-on workshop is designed to remedy gallerists’ and curators’ common complaint when viewing artist’s samples: “I wish it were presented in a more professional way.” Participants are asked to bring a small piece of art (no bigger than 16” x 20” for 2D or 3D work). Several pieces will be selected by Forelli for a demonstration. You will leave the course with an understanding of how to present your work in a convincing, professional way to galleries and museums. Forelli’s career encompasses 25 years as a professional photographer with international gallery representation. He has photographed advertising campaigns for BMW, Land Rover, AT&T, and Eastman Kodak. The workshop fee is $25. To register or for details, call 845- 252-7576 with credit card information. Payment must be made when registering.
