Library to host kids' book making workshop

MILFORD — Pike County Public Library invites all children to attend a book making workshop with noted author and illustrator Lindsay Barrett George. Barrett George is widely recognized for her striking illustrations of wildlife. She is the author and illustrator of many children’s books including: “The Secret and In the Garden: Who’s Been There,” as well as four other Who’s Been There books. Her book,”Inside Mouse, Outside Mouse,” was selected as Pennsylvania’s first “One Book for Every Young Child.” This exciting interactive book making workshop is part of PCPL’s summer program “Be Creative At Pike County Public Library.” It will be held on Friday, July 3, at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church at 300 Broad Street in Milford.
