Make your own mask for the Halloween dance

— The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) is hosting "Mask-erade," a Halloween dance, on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Western Inn, 22 Upper Main St., Callicoon, N.Y.
Dress in costume, mask, or your most comfortable clothes. Admission is $10 at the door (cash bar).
Dance with DJ's Lani and Adam Owens from Radio DNH. Sip special spooky cocktails, wine, and beer. Munch on Halloween treats. Other special offerings include a mask auction, 50/50 raffle, Halloween bake sale, on site photographer, costume prizes, Tarot readings, a psychic, face painting, and a spooky movie.
Mask auctionDVAA is calling for artists of all skill levels to create masks for the silent auction. Masks must be original (commercially made base is acceptable), wearable, and non-perishable. Register by Oct. 25: email a photo along with your name and materials used in your mask to info@delawarevalleyartsalliance.org. The mask will included in an online sneak preview. Or come to the "Mask-erade" and register your mask for the auction. Participants will be encouraged to wear their mask throughout the evening until bidding has closed.
