New exhibit at The Columns

Sarah Ducksworth, PhD in African American Studies, left, and Karen James, Manager of the Underground Railroad Initiative for the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission, right, were speakers at Friday evenings opening of the Davis-Bailey family exhibit at the Pike County Historical Society museum, The Columns in Milford. The new permanent exhibit detailing four generations of a black family living in Milford in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, was created by the society’s Executive Director, Lori Strelecki, to Ms. Ducksworth’s left, and Arlene Daddis, to Strelecki’s left.
