Open house at Akenac property for historical society

DINGMANS FERRY — The grand opening/open house for Dingmans Ferry Delaware Township Historical Society at the Akenac Property will be held Saturday, Aug. 23, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A photo will be taken at 1:30 p.m. The property is located off of state Route 739, just across from Doolan Road in Dingmans Ferry. Come out and bring the whole family to this wonderful event. Offices and Building will be open to the public for tours. Refreshments will be served, and there will be various demonstrations, and displays from Peter Dotey and various eighth grade graduation photos from past years.
